THE CHORWO
At the development of the CHORWO not only the design existed, but also the simple and error-free assembly was in the foreground. The secret lies in the lowerframe.
The sequence:
1. Foreword.
The CHORWO is ideally suited for installation in all wall versions from 750mm width of a total wall thickness of at least 62 mm. We recommend that you consider the recommended ideal dimension of 940 mm width during the new construction or in the planning phase.
2. Measurement of the sub-frame.
The degree i.e. the extent for the CHORWO subframe already takes place in the prime product. The upper edge finished floor(OKFF) is not yet relevant for the size. The CHORWO is completely flush with the wall, so the allowance for the lowerframe is made even before the plastering work {in drywall prior to the paneling).
3. Delivery/ Installation of the Sub-frame.
The CHORWO sub-frame is ideally installed already during the shell construction phase. To ensure that the lower frame is mounted error-free, fixed or variable cross braces are included for the sake of simplicity. Please do not remove the cross struts until the final screw is connected. It is fastened via the mounting brackets by screwing in from the front into the wall and laterally into the soffit. If the lower frame is secure, you can remove the cross braces. Then please unscrew the holders for the cross struts.
4. Plastering the lower frame.
At the lower frame there is a cleaning edge both at the front and at the side, which serves to remove the plaster. When plastering it is important not to plaster the room side of the soffit otherwise the main frame cannot be positioned into place.
5. Painting and flooring work.
After the sub-frame has been plastered, all subsequent work, such as painting and flooring work, can begin. As soon as the floor covering has been laid,an exact measurement of the cover frame and the door leaf can be made so that the CHORWO door element is precisely matched to the structural conditions. If the thickness of the floor covering is precisely defined, the allowance can also be made after the screed.
6. Assembly of the deck frame and door leaf.
First, the cover frame is pushed through the reveal onto the lower frame. After aligning the main frame with the invisible subframe insert the screws and install the seal. Then the door leaf is hung and the handle set mounted.
7. Closing the expansion joint, repainting if necessary.
The sub-frame not only guarantees a perfectly fitting installation of the cover frame, but also an absolutely wall-flush and crack free system. Only a small gap between the lower frame and the cover frame must be closed elastically by the painter (eg with acrylic) and must be adapted to the wall surface.
